I say, “If you want to be a photographer, first leave home.” And as travel and fiction author Paul Theroux further advises, “Go as far as you can. Become a stranger in a strange land. Acquire humility.”

我赞同。Steve McCurry 在他的部落格提到所谓‘离家’即走出自己的安逸窝，可以是到后院做拍摄。
有时候最熟悉的地方反而最陌生。
